The drive today was long, but fairly easy down 101. After we got past all the traffic from San Francisco to San Jose. It was a bit windy on the last part, but most of the day it was sunny and warm. The views once we reached the San Louis Obispo area are absolutely gorgeous. The Pacific is its usual pretty self.
We are stopping in Goleta for the night (north of Santa Barbara). It is still windy here, but we can feel it is much warmer than SF. Looking forward to getting to Palm Springs tomorrow.
