Outer Banks to Delaware

We moved on today.

Driving north on the outer banks we drove up to Virginia and crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.   What a neat thing.  There is a bridge span, then you go under the ocean, then up to another bridge span, down under the ocean again and then up to an elevated bridge span (for the fishing and pleasure craft to go under).

We thought from a quick look at the map that we went from Virginia straight to Delaware, but we actually had 40 miles of Maryland to go through as well.

The drive was medium in length but was stressful on Paul as there were many stop lights - and the truck/trailer need time to stop.

But the day was sunny, and warmer than the last couple of days, and we are here in Milton DE for a couple of nights.
